Technical advice

During the early stages of designing a mold for thermoplastic materials, our technical department is available to provide designs to identify the correct placement of the injection points, the most appropriate type of hot runner system, the mechanical elements necessary for movement of the mold parts, in compliance with a rigorous research for the best value for money of each identified component.

The study is accompanied by a technical drawing with details of all the seats that have to be made in the mold, in order to properly install the hot runner system and all the needed components.

In the following steps of the design, if needed, COMAT technicians are always available for any clarification or deepening. Moreover, at the specific request of the customer, it can be done a computer simulation to the subsequent filling phases of the molded part, with which it is possible to know in detail the distribution of the material and the specific temperature and pressure conditions.

COMAT believes that ready availability of products is a crucial element to ensure an accurate and secure supply as required by the market. For this reason the warehouse supply is optimized by means of a statistical analysis of the movement of the articles, by which it is possible to estimate the extent, timing and the optimum amounts of supplies. Purchase orders are routinely calibrated according to a careful assessment of the specific needs of customers.
